To apply for an ETIAS to visit Italy, you can complete an online application form. The ETIAS is a visa waiver program from the European Union.
Application process
Go to the ETIAS website
Fill out the application form
Pay the application fee
Wait for an email with your authorization or rejection
What you'll need
A valid passport with at least three months remaining after your planned departure
An email address
A credit or debit card to pay the application fee
Application questions
Personal details like your name, date of birth, and nationality
Travel plans, including your first destination in the Schengen Area
Health, criminal history, and previous trips to Europe
Processing time
Most applications are processed within minutes
In some cases, it can take up to a week
If you're flagged for further checks, processing might take longer
Validity
The ETIAS is valid for three years or until your passport expires, whichever comes first
When to apply
It's recommended to apply at least 72 hours in advance to avoid any last-minute issues.
Note that you need this for a few countries in Europe. If you are planning to travel more than just Italy, check the requirements!

The Abbey is a little over an hour away from Rome. We suggest renting a car that is suitble for you an your party and enjoy the ride! It will be difficult to catch public tracport to this countryside location.
Our lovely host at Abbey San Guisto has a contact we can arrange transportation through from the Rome area to Tuscania (the town close to our venue) and Abbey San Giusto (our venue). If you would like arrangements to be made for you, contact Hannah or James (we can provide you cost ahead of time, which will be paid to your driver directly by you in person).
